I Will Never Pay for It!

Before I tell you what it says on that sign with the phone number, I want to make sure you know that A Gentle Bossanova now has a Table of Contents. There’s a link to it at the bottom of every page on here. The first thing you’ll probably notice in the table of contents is a cloud of words that describe the things I write about on here. Well, today’s is going into media because it involves a sign, but I really don’t know where it belongs. Maybe it belongs in law, but I haven’t made that topic yet, and I don’t want to.

Oh, also, today’s entry is brief because I’m writing really interesting stuff over on PushSamba. In fact, I maybe need a law category over there because you should really read this!

So the sign says:

Prostitution or “sexual exploration” of children and adolescents is a crime punishable with 4 to 10 years of incarceration and a fine. Those responsible of the area in which such practices occur incur the same penalties.

Anyway, that’s the sign that I got to look at while I drank fresh strawberry milk and ate an egg sandwich the other morning. Copacabana’s got a bit of a prostitution problem and I suppose the owners of this café just want to make sure that everyone knows that they’re not going to turn a blind eye to any prostitution or pedophilia going on in their establishment.

Well, I sure am glad of that!
