		<description>I remember when Ross Perot ran for President, my mom said she liked him because he was a businessman and not a politician. I was too young to know anything about politics, and I still don&#039;t know too much (though I&#039;m trying), but this article makes my mom&#039;s comment extra-relevant.  It seems like we need, more and more, a &#039;real person&#039; who understands real issues to make changes.  I really respect someone like Pete Ashdown who recognizes that he&#039;d like to see changes in his life and his community, and makes an effort.  I&#039;d like to find a way to translate that idea to a smaller scale for me.</description>
