Flowers in Emmitsburg, MD

Between September 2002 and June 2003, I attempted to post an mp3, a little music criticism, a photograph, and a few thoughts to the internet each week. This must have been one of the first mp3 blogs, although I was not using any sort of blogging technology when I started. Initially, the site was hosted on a .mac account and written by hand in html. After the blog had run its course, I copied all of the entries into a Movable Type driven blog in July 2003.

What you see here is the layout I had been able to devise based on Movable Type's templates. I regret that I no longer have any record of the old .mac layout, as it may have made a nice artifact of my early web designing days. What's left, however, is a record of my first encounters with a digital camera, blogging, css and—of course—a record of what I listened to and thought about when I was 24 years old. Also includes accounts from a month long trip to Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand.
